QuickCrypto’s purpose is to protect your privacy, and it does this in several ways. It prevents others from accessing your info by using powerful algorithms to encrypt it, it makes sure the files you delete remain deleted by shredding them, it makes sure you can covertly convey a message by letting you hide it inside an image file for example, it ensures you can stay on top of your passwords by offering a password manager (and a password generating tool), it removes files that could jeopardize your privacy, and more.

QuickCrypto can be installed on a PC powered by any Windows edition from XP up to 8. To install the application, you will have to go through a standard setup procedure: download a 7.1Mb executable, run it, click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard. Complete this simple procedure and you will quickly have QuickCrypto up and running, ready to be used for free for a trial period of 15 days.

The interface uses a black and yellow color scheme – the background is black, the buttons are yellow. Said buttons are clearly positioned so that you can easily access all the functionality QuickCrypto has to offer. To the left you have buttons for accessing the encryption, shredding, and hiding files functionality. Down at the bottom there are buttons for accessing the Crypto Explorer, System Monitor, and other features. It is, in all fairness, a user friendly interface that will not pose a problem to any user.

From a functionality point of view, QuickCrypto has a lot to offer. All of its functions and features are quite handy for protecting your data and your privacy. Here’s a quick look at the application’s main features: encrypt and decrypt files/folders/text, shred files/folders, hide and unhide folders, use a secure alternative to Windows Explorer, system monitoring feature, send email messages, self decryptor, conceal info in images/sounds, remove the traces you leave behind when surfing the web and using the PC, recover deleted files, manage passwords, generate passwords.

QuickCrypto is a free to try application. As mentioned above, you have a trial period of 15 days to evaluate the functionality it has to offer. To keep using the application once the trial expires, you will have to get a license.

Lots of powerful features are put at your disposal by QuickCrypto. So use it to protect your data and your privacy.

Pros

QuickCrypto can be easily installed on any Windows edition from XP onward. The clear layout makes it very easy to navigate the interface. QuickCrypto puts multiple privacy-protecting features at your disposal.

Cons
